How it works

Short journeys, from the hive to your table.

  1. A neighbour keeps bees

    Local beekeepers list their surplus honey with us, one batch at a time.

  2. You find honey near you

    Search by postcode and buy from someone within walking distance, not a warehouse.

  3. You scan the jar

    Every jar has its own QR code showing whose hive it came from, where, and when it was harvested.

Every jar has a return address.

Supermarket honey is often a blend from several countries. Ours comes from one hive, and the label proves it.

  • The beekeeper's name and the area their hive lives in

What makes the honey local?

Every jar is linked to one beekeeper and one hive location. We show you the area it came from, so you can see it really was made round the corner.

What is raw honey?

Honey that has been strained but not heated or finely filtered, so it keeps the pollen and character of the flowers nearby. Most of our beekeepers sell it this way.

I only have one hive. Can I still join?

Yes. Plenty of beekeepers have one or two hives and a few spare jars each summer. That's exactly who we're building this for.

When are you launching?

We're building it now. Register and you'll be among the first to hear when we open in your area.

What do you do with my details?

We use them to tell you when we launch near you and to match you with beekeepers or buyers nearby. We never sell them. Read the privacy notice for the detail.
